  1. Mix the milk, custard powder and vanilla together
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat up cream and sugar until at scalding point then add the milk and the custard powder slurry.
  3. Working quickly; pour the hot liquid into ramekins and let it set in fridge.
Recipe Notes

Chef Tips:

  1. Altering Flavouring: Add some lemon zest , a little chocolate powder or even coconut! It will change the flavour of the dessert altogether.
  2. Let it set: Give it time to set; and let it cool down until the core is chilled.
  3. Decorate: Compote, fruits, sauces, jam, biscuits, cookies, tuilles - anything extra would give it some added texture. Our pictures has reeses and pistachios crumble.
